By "kosher" I mean using ABCD and other tools, methodologies, and models in accordance with the basic principles. An example: It should never be a qualification to have a problem before joining an initiative, and it sholuld never be an obsticle for participation to have a problem (a very basic ABCD-point of view). However, most initiatives (usually called "projects") are directed towards a special group of people with a problem, i.e. drugs, unemployments, crime etc.
My very basic point is, that problems are to be dealt with in problem solving mode, and development is to be dealt with in development mode. It is more a rule than an exeption to mix the two - and that really gives PROBLEMS! I would love to dicuss this further, but I am afraid it will take to long by comments.
